COMMUNITY SERVICE

You select the organization you will visit with your small group on Community Action Day. There you will learn about the organizations' purpose, activities, and the social need it aims to fulfill. Then you will roll up your sleeves and get to work serving food, stocking shelves, painting, or helping in other ways. At the end of the day, your group will report on your experiences to the whole GYV community.

The organizations offer a wide range of service opportunities:

Soup Kitchen * Food Bank * Elder Care * Animal Rescue * Habitat for Humanity

Street, Park, or Stream Cleanup * Service to children & adults with disabilities
